A great wild bird dog with a great nose, Lemon seems to go from one bird to the
next, always following his nose. We use Lemon in our guided hunting
business. He can hunt for anyone without my supervision and will stay with
them closely all day. We have killed hundreds of wild pheasants over
Lemon. Extremely easy to train, one of those dogs that we basically just
took hunting, no formal "whoa training".
A loyal and friendly pet and companion, Lemon was hit by a vehicle when he was 3
years old and as a result, we were never able to field trial him. He
is a full brother to our 2004 North Dakota Pheasant Champion, Havelock
Powerball. He has wonderful style, with a great 12 o'clock
tail.
